PersonaQuiz is designed to let people explore personality patterns with as little personal-data collection as practical.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how PersonaQuiz handles information when you use our website, original 16-type questionnaire, SBTI entertainment test, account features, and sharing tools. The current public beta does not offer paid reports or avatar analysis.
2. Test answers and results
Individual answers and progress for the 16-type questionnaire are stored in your browser's local storage so you can resume the test. They are not sent to PersonaQuiz in the current public beta. You can remove them by retaking the test, clearing site data, or clearing your browser storage. Share cards are generated at your request; using your device's share sheet may send the content to the third-party service you choose.
3. Information we may process
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested URL, timestamps, and error or security logs. If you create an account or contact us, we may process your email address, account identifier, authentication data handled by Supabase, and the content of your message. We do not ask you to provide sensitive health information in the tests.
4. Optional analytics
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you select 'Allow analytics' in our consent notice. They help us understand aggregate usage, navigation, device performance, and usability problems. If you decline, these analytics scripts are not loaded and the tests continue to work. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time. These providers may process data in other countries under their own privacy terms.
5. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, remember your selected settings, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, understand consented aggregate usage, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and do not use test answers for hiring, medical decisions, or automated eligibility decisions.
6. Service providers and international processing
PersonaQuiz may rely on Vercel or another hosting provider, Supabase for authentication and data services, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. These providers process information only for their service roles and may operate internationally. Their contractual, technical, and legal safeguards apply to data they process.
7. Retention and security
Browser-stored answers remain until you remove them. Account and support records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service, resolve requests, protect the site, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable access controls and security measures, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. You can also withdraw analytics consent through Cookie settings. Contact us with your request; we may need to verify your identity before acting on account-related data.
9. Children
PersonaQuiz is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us for deletion.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date below identifies the current version. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@personaquiz.org.
